Academy of Strategic, Defense Studies Signs Cooperation Program with Several Universities

Muscat, 17 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- The Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies signed today a cooperation program with a number of private universities and colleges in the Sultanate of Oman.

The program aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise, enhance the quality of academic and training programs, and promote cooperation in the fields of academia, scientific research, and innovation. It further seeks to provide access to learning and scientific research resources, as well as qualification programs and workshops, while enabling the utilization of experts and consultants and fostering development in joint educational and digital fields.

The cooperation program was signed on behalf of the Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies by Maj. Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies, while Dr. Juma Ali Al Juma, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee for Private Universities and Colleges, signed on behalf of the private universities and colleges.
