Investment Agreements Worth Over RO 9 Million Signed in South Al Batinah
Muscat, 9 Oct (ONA) --- The Office of the Governor of South Al Batinah today signed 13 new investment and executive agreements with a number of private sector institutions, valued at over RO 9 million. The signing took place during the Home and Building Expo at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The agreements were signed on behalf of the Governor’s Office by Eng. Masoud Said Al Hashmi, Governor of South Al Batinah, and by a group of investment and executive institutions and companies representing the private sector.

These agreements come within the framework of boosting local development, attracting investments, and supporting the national economy by enabling the private sector to execute development, service, and investment projects across the various Wilayats of South Al Batinah Governorate. This contributes to the development of public facilities and raising the quality of life in cities and villages.
The executive agreements included several vital projects, notably: The project to construct the City Walkway in the Wilayat of A’Rustaq, valued at over RO 3.7 million; The second phase of the "Rimal Park" (Sand Park) project in the Wilayat of Nakhl, valued at RO 2.2 million.
The agreements also cover projects for establishing neighborhood parks in various Wilayats of the governorate.

The investment agreements covered three projects for the management and operation of markets and public facilities for a period of 11 years.
These projects reflect the strategic direction of South Al Batinah Governorate toward achieving sustainable development, raising the quality of life in the various Wilayats, and strengthening partnership with the private sector to create qualitative projects that contribute to developing public facilities and community services and creating diverse economic opportunities.
