Al Batinah Entrepreneurs Exhibition 2026 Opens in Sohar
Sohar, 11 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- Riyada, the Authority for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), is organizing an event titled "Al Batinah Entrepreneurs Exhibition 2026" in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate. Fifty SMEs are taking part in the two-day exhibition.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Eng. Badr Salim Al Maamari, Chairman of the Department of Projects, Tenders and Local Content at Riyada, in the presence of Halima Rashid Al Zar'ee, Chairperson of Riyada.
The exhibition sees the participation of SMEs operating in a number of economic sectors—like converting industries, crafts, technology, digital innovation, tourism, services and commerce. It reflects the leading role of SMEs in supporting the national economy and diversifying sources of income.
The exposition includes workshops, practical training programmes and panel discussions designed to establish a link between the aspirations of entrepreneurs and the requirements of major companies and their affiliate entities.
The event focuses on developing modern management skills and building business models. It also elaborates on professional marketing, governance, financing and the requirements of tender and supply chains.
