Diverse Activities, Events Held for Persons with Disabilities in North Al Batinah

Sohar, 11 Dec 2025 (ONA) — The Directorate General of Culture, Sports and Youth in North Al Batinah Governorate today organized events and activities for the Sports Day for Persons with Disabilities at Sohar Sports Complex, as part of the accompanying events of the 6th Annual Festival for Persons with Disabilities.

The sports events and activities saw the participation of a number of persons with disabilities from Al Wafa Rehabilitation Centers for Persons with Disabilities in the governorate's wilayats, the Children's Association for Persons with Disabilities in Saham, in addition to students from auditory and intellectual integration classes from the Directorate General of Education in North Al Batinah.

The activities aimed to enhance the energies and capabilities of the participating groups and encourage them to practice sports as a means of expression and community integration.
