A’Dakhiliyah Municipal Council Reviews Development Updates

Nizwa, 17 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- The Municipal Council of the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah discussed a number of planning and development matters related to various wilayats across the governorate. The meeting was chaired by Sheikh Hilal Said Al Hajri, Governor of A’Dakhiliyah and Chairman of the Municipal Council.

The council reviewed updates on urban planning and several requests for approval of residential and service plot plans, alongside proposals for developing tourist and service sites.

During the meeting, the council discussed requests for land allocation for mosques and service projects, proposals for modifying land use designations, as well as addressing the needs of several wilayats regarding the expansion of residential schemes and improvement of basic infrastructure, in line with the urban development in the governorate.
