"Himayah" Caravan Makes First Stop During Musandam Winter Season
Musandam, 4 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- The Social Protection Fund organized the "Himayah" (Protection) Caravan initiative in Musandam Governorate, coinciding with the Musandam Winter season.
This event aims to enhance awareness of the social protection system, its operational mechanisms, objectives, and the various services, benefits, and insurance programs it provides. The initiative featured a series of activities conducted across various locations within the governorate, facilitating access to diverse social groups and fostering direct communication with the public in their local environments.
The "Himayah" Caravan focused on delivering content that strengthens knowledge of the social protection system through accessible information and direct interaction.
The caravan targeted all categories covered under the social insurance schemes and social protection benefits, including the elderly, children, workers across various sectors, the self-employed, job seekers, and persons with disabilities.
Notably, the initiative is a practical embodiment of the Social Protection Fund’s strategic vision, which seeks to build a comprehensive and sustainable social protection system. This step represents a specific execution of operational plans aimed at community outreach and improving the quality of digital and field services for beneficiaries.
Furthermore, the initiative contributed directly to enhancing the quality of services provided by activating direct and effective communication channels. Such interaction serves as a fundamental pillar for measuring beneficiary satisfaction and understanding their actual needs, thereby enabling continuous improvement and the refinement of services and programs.
