Awareness Event on HPV, HIV Held in Musandam

Khasab, 7 Dec 2025 (ONA) — The Ministry of Health today organized an awareness event on the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) at the Khasab Sports and Cultural Club, under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Salim Al Mandhari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Planning and Health Regulation.

The event's program included a series of specialized lectures, interactive activities, and an awareness health exhibition, in addition to a presentation of community initiatives implemented by employees of the Directorate General of Health Services in the governorate.

At the conclusion of the event, the chief guest felicitated the students and schools that participated in the awareness competition, along with the lecturers and the organizing committee.
