Khasab, 25 Sep (ONA) --- The First Strategic Forum of Musandam Governorate concluded today. The forum, organized by the Governor's Office, aimed to frame the projects for the Eleventh Five-Year Plan (2026–2030) and featured broad community participation.

The forum included a review and analysis of 119 projects distributed across five main themes: Spatial Economy and Investment, Environmental Sustainability, Infrastructure and Welfare Components, National Competency Development, and Quality of Services and Community Participation.

The closing ceremony was held under the auspices of Sayyid Ibrahim Said Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, and was attended by representatives from governmental and private entities and a number of specialists.

The forum aimed to align the governorate's projects with the priorities of Oman Vision 2040, engage various community segments and relevant stakeholders, develop projects that help achieve the annual targets for each priority, and explore the promising opportunities generated by the major strategic projects launched in the Tenth Five-Year Plan. It also discussed challenges related to local development and looked ahead to future prospects that enhance the governorate's position nationally and regionally.

It is worth noting that the First Strategic Forum in Musandam Governorate included preliminary workshops in various wilayats to enhance community engagement and concluded with three days of discussion sessions in the Wilayat of Khasab. Participants affirmed that the forum represents a significant step toward building a shared future vision that reinforces Musandam Governorate's status as a strategic hub on Oman's development map.
