Al-Noor Association Outlines Forthcoming Cultural Forum, Launches Visual Identity
Muscat, 5 Oct (ONA) --- Al Noor Association for the Blind announced that it would organize a cultural forum from 19 to 23 October 2025 under the theme “Innovation Beyond Sighting”.
The forum brought together more than 100 participants from 14 Arab countries.

Dr. Raed bin Abdul Hafeez Al Farsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Noor Association for the Blind (who heads the forum’s organizing committee), said during a press conference that “This forum is the first event of its kind in the Sultanate of Oman that brings together such a large number of the blind who converge in Muscat to showcase their potential in the fields of literature, theatre, music and visual arts, in addition to participating in intellectual symposiums and training workshops.”

The event also saw the launch of the Association’s visual identity of the Forum was launched at its headquarters in Bausher.
Al Farsi explained that the forum aims to highlight the status of the blind in the Arab cultural and artistic landscape, establish a communication network that keeps the blind informed and enables them to express their talents and their potential to convert culture into a means of integration and empowerment.
