HM The Sultan Congratulates Prime Minister of Bangladesh

Muscat, 17 Feb 2026 (ONA) — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to Tarique Rahman, Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on his election victory and taking the constitutional oath as Prime Minister.

In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his best wishes to the Prime Minister for success in performing his responsibilities toward achieving further stability and economic recovery. His Majesty also wished the relations between the two countries continued growth and prosperity.
