    Muscat, Mar 29^th (ONA)---The latest Numerical weather prediction charts continue to indicate a deep depression area over the Sultanate skies till the week end. Partly cloud to cloudy skies over the Governorates of Musandam, Al-Buraimi and Muscat and regions of Al-Batinah, Al-Dhahirah, Al-Dakhliyah and Al-Sharqiyah with chances of rain occasionally thunder showers associated with hail and fresh winds and clear to partly cloudy skies over the rest of the Sultanate with chances of blowing dust over regions of Al-Wusta, Al-Dhahirah and Northern part of Dhofar Governorate. A statement released by the Civil Aviation Affairs, at the Directorate General of Meteorology and Air Aviation said.

The Directorate General of Meteorology and Air Aviation, called upon citizens and residents to take maximum precautions during the rainfall, overflow of wadis and to observe the weather forecasts released by the Directorate. It has also advised fishermen and sea-goers to avoid riding the sea along the coasts of the Governorate of Musandam and the Gulf of Oman until Wednesday evening.
