Muscat, April 15 (ONA)---His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolikiah, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam held a session of talks at Al Alam Palace Guest House this evening.

    During the talks session the two sides reviewed aspects of existing cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing the strong existing bilateral relations between them to serving the mutual interest of the peoples of the two countries.

   The talks session was attended from the Omani side by Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture, Head of the mission of honour accompanying His Majesty the guest, Sayyid Ali bin Hamoud al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Ali bin Majid al Ma'amari, Royal Office Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Saud bin Ibrahim al Busaidi, Interior Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Zahir al Hinai, Justice Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamed bin Hamoud al Busaidi, Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry and Sayyid Fakhri bin Mohammed al Said, Sultanate's ambassador to Brunei Darussalam.

    It was attended from Brunei Darussalam side by Behen (retired) Major General, Dato Awang, Haji Mohammed bin Haj Dawood, Minister of Energy, Behen Dato W. Jok Singh, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Behen Dato Ustaz Haj Awang Abdulaziz bin Junaid, Mufti of the State, Muharram bin Biah, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Sultanate, Behen Dato Haj Mohammed Yasmeen bin Haj Omar, Deputy Minister of Defence, Benjran Dato Othman bin Benjran Betra, Undersecretary at the Office of the Prime Minister.
