6347 H1N1 Cases in Sultanate

 

Muscat, March 9 (ONA) --- The National A(H1N1) Follow Up and Management Committee announced that the number of the patients infected by A(H1N1) virus stood at 6347, while the number of vaccine doses given to citizens and residents in different governmental and private health institutes stood at 33830. It is worth mentioning that no any new death case was recorded, therefore, the death toll remain at 32 cases.

 

   The Health Ministry advises citizens and residents to take the vaccine in the different health institutions, especially pregnant women and people with cancer diseases, Immune deficiency Syndromes, (genetic, acquired or therapeutic), tuberculosis, respiratory diseases like asthma, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Cardiac and circulatory system diseases such as blood pressure, diabetes and those who suffer from kidney and liver diseases, chronic neurological and muscle disorder and obesity.
